The Rotary Club of Houston Heights will have a Hybrid Fundraiser this year in 2021.
Proceeds From our event will help support:
· Food baskets and related support for families impacted by COVID-19
· Educational needs of students from low income families
· Programs emphasizing physical and emotional health
· Individuals/families impacted by natural disasters such as Hurricane Laura
· International programs including orphan care
Our members and friends will each have a fundraising page where they will get their friends, business associates and families to support them by asking to make online donations to their page. Each team member will choose to walk or run or pick some other activity that they will commit to doing in return of donations made through their page.
Our event date is May 22nd, 2021 and that date is the approximate date that each member will perform their activity that they committed too.
On May 22nd, 2021, we will also have a mini Crawfish/Shrimp in person event to celebrate our fundraiser efforts and also celebrate the semi back to normal life with the reduction of Covid.
We will list more details on the location of this in-person soon on this webpage, so please come back to this webpage in the following week. We will be selling food tickets and will have drive-trhu food pickup for ticket holders that are not ready for gathering and eating at our social distancing table setup at our event.
